Payment methods and VAT
Which payment methods the client area accepts, how VAT is applied to consumers and EU businesses, and why the two price displays on the site differ.
Payment methods
Invoices in the client area can be paid by SEPA transfer, Bancontact, iDEAL, Wero, and by card (Visa, Mastercard, CB). The payment page of each invoice shows what applies to it.
LIR services are the exception: they are paid by SEPA transfer by default. Bancontact, iDEAL or card are possible on request through a ticket.
Billing cycle
The billing cycle (monthly, yearly) is chosen when you order. Changing it afterwards is done on request through a ticket, and is not available for every product.
VAT
NovaNode is in Luxembourg, so Luxembourg VAT rules apply:
- Consumersin Luxembourg and in the rest of the EU pay 17 % Luxembourg VAT.
- Businesses outside Luxembourgwith a valid EU VAT number are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism; you account for the VAT in your own country.
- Businesses in Luxembourgpay 17 % VAT and reclaim it as usual.
The switch at the top of every page of this site flips the prices between incl. and excl. VAT so you can read them the way that applies to you. The price on the invoice follows your account's VAT status, not the switch.
