VPS Use Cases
FAQ
VPS hosting , or Virtual Private Server hosting , is a type of web hosting that provides a dedicated virtual environment on a physical server. It balances affordability and performance, making it a popular choice for websites or applications requiring more control, power, and flexibility than shared hosting but without the high costs of a dedicated server.
As you sign up for our VPS plan, our team will do their best to speed things up and immediately start the server provisioning, most of the time near instant. Once you receive the server and control panel details, you can start using your virtual server.
No, not all ports are opened by default for security reasons. We block TCP/25, 465 (SMTP variants), UDP/123 (NTP), 1900 (UPnP), 11211 (Memcached), and others like 17, 111, 389, 445, 520 to prevent spam, DDoS amplification, and exploits. If you require access to mail ports or other restricted services, please submit a support ticket, we will review this as soon as possible and remain the right to decline your request at our discretion.
Every order is governed by our Terms of Service. The product sections in it set the limits that matter in practice, such as what unlimited traffic means and when a plan is no longer suited to a workload.
Prices All prices are in euro. The switch in the top bar shows them with or without VAT; the VAT rate charged at checkout depends on your country and whether you order as a business. Prices and plan contents can change; the price shown in the client portal at the time of ordering applies.
1 VPS traffic VPS plans include unlimited ordinary traffic under the fair use policy in section 5.2.5 of the Terms of Service. The following monthly volumes are reference levels, not quotas: exceeding one is not a breach and does not trigger a charge by itself. Sustained use well above a reference level that affects the network or other customers may lead to a review and, where needed, an upgrade proposal or traffic management. The network port is shared; a displayed port speed is a maximum, not a guaranteed throughput.
