How it works
Switch off the transfer lock and make sure the contact email on the domain is one you can read; the registry writes to it.
Called EPP code, auth code or transfer key depending on the registrar. A .lu domain needs none: the registry emails the admin contact a link instead.

For .lu, click the link the registry sends; it is valid for 15 days. Other transfers complete after approval; depending on the registry that takes from minutes up to 5–14 days.

FAQ
No. A transfer changes the registrar, not the DNS. Your nameservers and records stay as they are unless you change them afterwards in the client area.
For .com and .net, no: ICANN rules lock a domain for 60 days after a registration or a previous transfer. .lu, .be, .eu, .de, .fr and .nl have no such lock.
For most TLDs, the remaining time is not lost: the transfer adds an additional year to your current expiry date. Exact behaviour depends on the registry rules for each extension, so always check the expiry date shown in your client area after the transfer completes.
Transfer times vary by TLD and current registrar. Some transfers complete almost instantly after approval, while others can take up to 5–14 days depending on registry rules.
Yes. You are free to transfer your domain away from NovaNode at any time, subject to standard registry transfer rules. We do not charge additional fees for outbound transfers.

Every order is governed by our Terms of Service. The product sections in it set the limits that matter in practice, such as what unlimited traffic means and when a plan is no longer suited to a workload.
Prices All prices are in euro. The switch in the top bar shows them with or without VAT. Consumers pay 17 % Luxembourg VAT; businesses with a valid EU VAT number outside Luxembourg are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism; Luxembourg businesses pay 17 %. Prices and plan contents can change; the price shown in the client portal at the time of ordering applies.
1 VPS traffic VPS plans include unlimited ordinary traffic under the fair use policy in section 5.2.5 of the Terms of Service. The following monthly volumes are reference levels, not quotas: exceeding one is not a breach and does not trigger a charge by itself. Sustained use well above a reference level that affects the network or other customers may lead to a review and, where needed, an upgrade proposal or traffic management. The network port is shared; a displayed port speed is a maximum, not a guaranteed throughput.

Domains Domain prices are per year and per extension. Registration, transfer and renewal rules differ per registry; the expiry date and conditions shown in the client area apply. For consumers, the right of withdrawal ends once the domain has been registered with the registry (Terms of Service 8.7).
Websites Plan limits (websites, pages, storage, blocks) are listed in the comparison table. After a downgrade, content above the new limits must be reduced before publishing again. Your site runs on your own domain via a CNAME record you set yourself.
Email Storage is one shared pool per plan. Every order is reviewed before activation (Terms of Service 8.1.11, 8.2.2); we may ask for information or verification (8.1.11) and may decline (8.1.10), in which case the mail service is refunded. Spam leads to immediate termination (5.3.1).
