How it works

From order to root access in four steps

  1. Pick a plan

Six plans from 1 vCPU / 1 GB to 8 vCPU / 32 GB, each with its own share of CPU, RAM and NVMe storage.

  2. Order and pay

The server is provisioned automatically within a few minutes after payment and the fraud check.

  3. Install your system

Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, FreeBSD or your own image from the control panel; cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin are available too.

  4. Log in as root

Server and panel details arrive by email. Console over VNC, snapshots and reinstalls are in the panel.

FAQ

Questions about VPS in Luxembourg

In LuxConnect DC1.1 in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, on our own hardware. The datacenter is Tier IV certified.

TCP 25 and 465 are closed on every new VPS, which keeps our IP space off blocklists. If you need them, open a ticket and we look at it; the full list of blocked ports is on the VPS page.

Ordinary traffic is unlimited under the fair use policy in section 5.2.5 of our Terms of Service. Each plan has a monthly reference level, from 5 TB for the smallest plan; going over it is not a breach and does not trigger a charge by itself.

Yes, from the client area. The price difference is prorated on the current cycle.

Both are in the EU, so the GDPR applies either way. Germany has more providers and lower entry prices. Luxembourg gives you a server under Luxembourg law and jurisdiction, a few milliseconds less to users in Luxembourg, Belgium and Lorraine. If none of that matters for your workload, a German server is the sensible choice.

We have no datacenter in Belgium. The server is in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, twenty minutes from the Belgian border. Our network peers directly at BNIX in Brussels, so traffic to Belgian ISPs present there takes the direct route. Belgian companies with a VAT number are invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge; consumers pay 17 % Luxembourg VAT instead of 21 %. If the data must physically sit in Belgium, this is not the right product.

France has large providers and lower prices for bulk capacity. Our network peers at France-IX in Paris, so traffic to French ISPs present there is exchanged directly, and Lorraine is closer to Bettembourg than to Paris. What you get here is a server under Luxembourg law on hardware we own, with invoices under the reverse charge for French companies with a VAT number.

The Netherlands has one of the largest hosting markets in Europe and prices to match; for a server that only needs to be somewhere in the EU, that is hard to beat. Luxembourg makes sense when jurisdiction matters, when your users are in Luxembourg, Belgium or the Greater Region, or when you want a provider whose hardware and network are its own.

Small print

Every order is governed by our Terms of Service. The product sections in it set the limits that matter in practice, such as what unlimited traffic means and when a plan is no longer suited to a workload.

Terms of Service Privacy Policy Data Processing Agreement

Prices All prices are in euro. The switch in the top bar shows them with or without VAT. Consumers pay 17 % Luxembourg VAT; businesses with a valid EU VAT number outside Luxembourg are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism; Luxembourg businesses pay 17 %. Prices and plan contents can change; the price shown in the client portal at the time of ordering applies.

1 VPS traffic VPS plans include unlimited ordinary traffic under the fair use policy in section 5.2.5 of the Terms of Service. The following monthly volumes are reference levels, not quotas: exceeding one is not a breach and does not trigger a charge by itself. Sustained use well above a reference level that affects the network or other customers may lead to a review and, where needed, an upgrade proposal or traffic management. The network port is shared; a displayed port speed is a maximum, not a guaranteed throughput.

Domains Domain prices are per year and per extension. Registration, transfer and renewal rules differ per registry; the expiry date and conditions shown in the client area apply. For consumers, the right of withdrawal ends once the domain has been registered with the registry (Terms of Service 8.7).

Websites Plan limits (websites, pages, storage, blocks) are listed in the comparison table. After a downgrade, content above the new limits must be reduced before publishing again. Your site runs on your own domain via a CNAME record you set yourself.

Email Storage is one shared pool per plan. Every order is reviewed before activation (Terms of Service 8.1.11, 8.2.2); we may ask for information or verification (8.1.11) and may decline (8.1.10), in which case the mail service is refunded. Spam leads to immediate termination (5.3.1).
