DNS hosting
Register or transfer a domain and its DNS comes with it: our nameservers, an editor with every record type you are likely to need, and a file export so the zone is never locked in.
What it does
FAQ
DNS hosting comes with domains registered or transferred to NovaNode. For a domain that stays at another registrar, point the services at it with records in that registrar's DNS; Mail and Sites both work that way, the records are shown in the client area.
On NovaNode's own network, AS199839, operated from Luxembourg. The domain's registration data sits with the registry of the extension, as for any domain.
Nothing beyond the domain. The price of each extension is on its page and on the domains overview; the DNS editor and the nameservers are part of it.
Guides
Manage the DNS records of a domain registered at NovaNode: where the editor is, which record types it supports, and how import and export work.
The MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and autodiscover records a domain needs for NovaNode Mail, where the Mail panel shows them, and how to tell when they are in place.
Which DNS records point a domain at a NovaNode Sites website, how ownership is proven, and what the status in the editor means.
Get started
Check a name on the domains page; the zone is created with the domain and ready in the client area.
Every order is governed by our Terms of Service. The product sections in it set the limits that matter in practice, such as what unlimited traffic means and when a plan is no longer suited to a workload.
Prices All prices are in euro. The switch in the top bar shows them with or without VAT. Consumers pay 17 % Luxembourg VAT; businesses with a valid EU VAT number outside Luxembourg are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism; Luxembourg businesses pay 17 %. Prices and plan contents can change; the price shown in the client portal at the time of ordering applies.
Domains Domain prices are per year and per extension. Registration, transfer and renewal rules differ per registry; the expiry date and conditions shown in the client area apply. For consumers, the right of withdrawal ends once the domain has been registered with the registry (Terms of Service 8.7).
