NovaNode Sites is out
Our website builder is live. Pick a design, write your pages, connect your domain, done. Hosted in Luxembourg, from €29.13 per year.
This October we switched on NovaNode Sites, our website builder. It is for the site you have been meaning to make: a page for your practice, your shop, your band, your side project, on your own domain, without a web agency and without learning WordPress.
What it is
You pick one of our designs, replace the text and photos with yours, drag blocks around until it looks right, and publish. Every site gets:
- its own domain with HTTPS, ordered together with the site or one you already own
- pages in several languages
- contact forms
- visitor statistics without cookies, so no consent banner for that
- autosave and a history you can roll back to
Three plans, depending on how much site you need: one page for a link page or a card, up to fifteen pages for a small website, or three sites with thirty pages each for a business with more than one thing going on. Where it runs
On our own hardware in LuxConnect DC1.1 in Luxembourg, on our own network, like everything else we host. Your site, its files and its backups do not leave the EU. The contractual version of that sentence is on Infrastructure, jurisdiction and governmental access.
Your data stays yours
Under the EU Data Act you have to be able to leave a service with your data. We took that literally: a NovaNode Sites site exports as a plain archive with your pages, images and files, and the format is documented in the open so another tool can read it. Getting started
Order a plan with a domain, or add one to a domain you already have with us; the editor opens from the client area. Connecting a domain that is registered somewhere else takes three DNS records, explained step by step in Connect your domain to NovaNode Sites.
